The journey on which Vuitton invites us to embark begins with Conquest, a true statement of intent in which the designer uses an arrow to symbolise determination and the path towards the future.  At the heart of the collection is a necklace featuring 21 vibrant red rubies framed by a baguette diamond and black onyx details, culminating in a striking LV Monogram Star-cut diamond.  This is followed by Totem, where shapes reminiscent of Vuitton’s iconic ‘V’ motif are transformed into white and yellow gold amulets, becoming a protective shield for a woman seeking to discover – and protect – her own destiny. A sense of solemnity pervades Fortitude, another line in the collection, which is spearheaded by the imposing presence of a blue Cambodian cubic zirconia weighing over 80 carats in its centrepiece necklace.  But it is in Enigma and Spell that the maison reaches the pinnacle of this collection’s magic.  In Spell, cutting-edge technology meets secrecy: blue-fluorescent diamonds glow under ultraviolet light, revealing hidden patterns and the brand’s emblem only when the dim light makes it necessary. Whisper, another of the chapters, presents itself as a true celestial allegory inspired by air and delicacy. Its centrepiece, a royal blue sapphire in a teardrop cut, sits atop a lacework of diamonds that seem to float weightlessly.  This serenity gives way to the nocturnal explosion of Sirius, Louis Vuitton’s line dedicated to the guiding star.  A constellation of 13 extraordinary gemstones — tourmalines, aquamarines and tanzanites totalling 249 carats — is wound around a diamond cord featuring inverted settings.  The embroidered details on the reverse of the pieces confirm that beauty is cultivated from within. The culmination of this collection, woven as if it were an epic, is found in Triumph – a line inspired by the phoenix’s rebirth, featuring hand-sculpted wings in yellow gold with satin and brilliant finishes – before reaching its absolute climax in Victory and Fortune.  In Victory, the aura of glory takes shape in a full colour palette of rare coloured diamonds, crowned by an exceptional pear-cut “Fancy Vivid Pink” diamond; and in Fortune, Louis Vuitton presents us with a dazzling necklace featuring 4,700 diamonds set in a gradient of yellow and white, the result of nearly 3,000 hours of artisanal craftsmanship. Through Mythica, Louis Vuitton not only seeks to reaffirm its position at the pinnacle of fine jewellery, but also offers us a true lesson in narrative mastery, through a journey in which courage, mystery and light converge to redefine the boundaries of contemporary fine jewellery.  For every cut, every shape and every hour spent crafting these pieces serves to remind us that true jewels are not merely static ornaments, but authentic talismans for those who dare to write their own story.
