Seventy years have passed since Christian Dior presented his first collection and that is well worth a great celebration. For this reason, the Parisian maison celebrates the designer’s savoir-faire with an exceptional exhibition at the Museum of Decorative Arts of ParisChristian Dior, a dream tailor, which illustrates Dior’s love for art and antiques.

A true ode to elegance through more than three hundred couture gowns designed from 1947 to date that shape a show that harbors emotions, genuine stories and creations of Christian Dior. Someone who would become a true fashion visionary by forever transforming the way women used to dress by opting for unprecedent silhouettes, skirt and dress lengths, very tight waist volumes and extremely sexy breasts.

Along with his creations, those of the renowned designers who have followed him: Yves Saint LaurentMarc BohanGianfranco FerréJohn GallianoRaf Simons and, very recently, Maria Grazia Chiuri. And next to them, couture fabrics, fashion photographs, hundreds of documents (letters, manuscripts, advertising pieces…) and fashion accessories such as hats, jewellery, shoes, etc.
