Neomania #46. Optimistic equation

We are art and fashion but without being oblivious to the reality where we live.

We know of the erupting volcanoes that shake the world politics.

The eye of the hurricane, that war in Ukraine, which goes on forever.

Let’s try to take a deep breath and focus our minds on other orbits with a common denominator: our passion for aesthetics.

Traveling through the history of art, we explore an artistic movement that left a long trail behind: Romanticism.

Coinciding with its last protagonists, lived a woman who was the first abstract painter, recently discovered: the Swedish, Hilma Af Klint.

When she died, she left instructions to keep her entire work hidden as she considered that the world was not ready for her art. Today she is an amazing, unprecedented discovery.

In the galaxy of Design, two geniuses: a Japanese man better known as a sculptor, Isamu Noguchi, and the Dutch Hella Jongerius, an industrial and textile creator.

One of our main objectives is to provide a dose of optimism.

That’s why we focused our eyes on an exhibition in Munich that is pure joy: “Flowers forever”.

Recent Harvard research finds that living with flowers (natural or painted) strengthens positive feelings and decreases anxiety.

With the growing desire for tranquility and the search to relieve stress, flowers play an important role in our daily lives.

With flowers, art and fashion, we get a good equation to lift our spirits above the madding crowd…
